“I dreamed of a more beautiful world and chose to design it, for choosing beauty is an act of vision, and creating it is an act of courage.”

History
CURU was founded a few years ago with a clear vision: to transform Panama’s cultural heritage into contemporary design with global appeal.
What began as a commitment to preserving tradition has evolved into a brand that redefines craftsmanship as modern luxury. We collaborate directly with artisan communities located in remote, mountainous regions of Panama, where ancestral techniques are safeguarded and passed down from generation to generation. Their mastery, patience, and knowledge are the foundation of every creation.
At CURU, we believe that true luxury is born from authenticity. It is intentional, responsible, and profoundly human. Each piece bears the mark of the hands that create it: natural fibers elevated to structured silhouettes, heritage transformed into timeless design.
Our collections don’t follow trends; they tell stories. They honor origins while embracing evolution, positioning Panamanian craftsmanship within an international design conversation.
CURU exists at the intersection of culture and sophistication: where legacy becomes contemporary and tradition transcends borders.
LEVÓ
CURU's commitment is discreet yet fundamental.
We work closely with Panamanian artisan communities, honoring techniques passed down through generations and ensuring that each creation embodies respect, continuity, and shared value.
We believe in conscious luxury: one that acknowledges origin, protects knowledge, and understands that the future of design is deeply intertwined with cultural preservation.
At CURU, tradition isn't displayed. It's upheld.
Catwalks
Since 2021, CURU has solidified its presence on stages where fashion engages with culture, identity, and contemporary vision. The Diáblica collection marked its debut at Panama Fashion Week and subsequently at Expo 2020 Dubai, projecting Panamanian design onto a global platform.
With Eterna, the brand returned to Panama Fashion Week and expanded its presence to Espacio Vogue in Miami and Intermoda in Mexico, strengthening its position on the international circuit. In 2024, Tambora reaffirmed its identity on the runway, and in 2025, Juana Criolla 2026 was presented at Latin American Fashion Week and Chiriquí Fashion Week, consolidating a narrative that intertwines historical memory and contemporary sophistication.
The brand's vision has been highlighted in publications such as Vogue Latin America, Mundo Social, Inversor, Ellas, and Mía, positioning CURU as a firm that elevates Latin American craftsmanship within the language of cultural luxury.
CURU is projected today as a creative house with its own identity, rooted in its heritage and aligned with a global vision.
